Wing English School is a private English school located in Koshigaya city,
Saitama
Prefecture, Japan, approximately 30 kilometers from Tokyo.
Over twenty years ago, Kumiko Hirata started Wing English School with a
few students
using one room in her house as a classroom. Today, the school's role has
grown to
over 200 students, and every room in the house is being used as a classroom.
Wing has two main classrooms, a computer room, and two classes set aside
for adult
classes and other small courses. Wing also teaches math and Japanese to
junior
high school students.
Wing has a staff of about 4 people. Wing employs one full-time native English
speaking
teacher as its chief language instructor. Other staff are employed part
time to teach
computer, math and Japanese classes. A part time native English teacher
may also be
employed time to time with the workload.
Wing is a small but busy English school and provides a family-type working
atmosphere.
